I want to see pictures of your doggy(and don't worry, I'm paranoid with my old pup myself).:)

I should take a lesson from you... I skipped the gym Monday from a case of the lazies.D:

"It was just 'He had to do it to keep his job, so it was okay.'"

That's... horrendous thinking in my opinion. They're entitled to their opinions though, of course, but to not even think that's a bad thing is... wow. Well, I do think that they do consider it negative, but to not act is just as bad in my opinion.

I agree with you on realism. I think fatalism is for lack of a better term, lazy. At least in this situation.

And please, continue being idealistic! I love hearing about these sorts of things.

Pictures posted. I have more, but those were the most convenient ones to upload. What sort of dog do you have?

Well, I'm not that virtuous. It's just that, with me, if I'm on a roll, I'll keep doing it, but if skip one workout, I'll fall apart and stop working out.

And I definitely agree. Here's what bothers me about it: If we excuse someone for not taking a stand because they might go from making $500,000 per year to $90,000 and lose their "social standing," how do we have any hope that people will take a stand against something wrong when their life or freedom might be at stake? I'm sure some people would argue that not blowing the whistle isn't like participating in genocide, which is true. But the risk of standing up to your boss is much less than the risk of standing up to a genocidal dictator. So, I think that carrying that way of thinking to it's logical end could mean very bad things for the world ( ... )

I have an old female schaunzer.:)

That's how I get as well. I have been doing naughty things this semester with eating and exercising, but I am starting to sort it out and get back on track.:)

Exactly... one must sacrifice for the good of the many. If people never take a stand for ethics, then everything will be corrupt for the sake of greed- then again I think this is already happening, at least in this country.^^;

Aw. schnaunzers are cool.

Making the decision to get back on track really is half the battle. It's hard after that, but it's hard making the choice, too.

And I think what bothers me the most is the idea that the guy was "trapped" because if he blew the whistle, he'd lose his $300K per year job with benefits. He was hardly going to starve in the streets.

I hope the Rsa Sericea is readable! That's the only thing meant to be.XD

The little text basically says The Sericea Rose, the Wingthorn Rose discovered in China in 1890 and some specifics about the flower.:)

I did! Though it's quite similar.XD

I know. I saw it on your comm post. They're great!

And Rosa Sericea is very readable. I was just curious about what the other part said. It's very neat.
