me and my friend melissa went to see Frida last night at the dollar theatre..it was awesome. after seeing that...i no longer believe in love...fidelity or any lasting relationship. men...suck...haha...me and melissa had a long talk about how men are socialized to believe that it is ok for them to do all these shitty things. they act like children ( Read more... )

hey, this is kinda off the topic, Carmen ... i just wanted to let you know that i randomly met your friend "fudge" last night at the mag bar. he said you were one of his best friends, etc. i just thought that was really bizarre. smalll world.

...are socialized to believe that it is o.k. for them to behave shittily. Or maybe some manage to overcome said socialization. Despite my numerous shortcomings (some of which would surely be classified as stereotypically "male"), I think I at least treat women with some measure of respect. Anyway, there are some good guys out there. Women...men...I try not to generalize. There are good people and bad people.

yeah..i as a rule usually try to think of things as being equal..i usually say things in terms of people not men or women..but i was angry with boys that night! haha
