That's not really easy to tell. There are so many factors that we take in without realizing it. Traffic, wind conditions, body language of an assailant. It's hard to know what you're missing because so much of this has become second nature that we aren't consciously aware...

I'd suggest though that you not patrol solo, at least not initially. Your call, of course.
