Just a short while after I mortally wounded my precious drive of All Things John (1997-2003), I have recovered it, thanks to a handy piece of software called Partition Table Doctor 3.0. This package ran through my disk, found the wreckage of my partition, and using those pieces put it back together again, whole. I am beside myself with relief,
