Back from Camping! Big Report!

Whew, back from the power week of camping! Words can't capture how amazing the southwest is (and to think, I only sampled a small fraction of it!). I spent a lot of time uploading pictures onto my Flickr account, complete with captions and descriptions, so I will direct you there for the visual narrative of my Spring Break. The following is a

That sounds like quite the trip you took! It's good to hear you saw so many birds. I remember Big Bend and the Chiricahua Natl. Monument. Both definitely were worth the trip. I plan to go back to them one day and snap some digitals out there. Did you happen to get to Jerome, Tombstone, or Tucson?

Trogon can be hard to spot and it depends on the time of day. They tend to be a shy little bird but very pretty to see. I'll have to dig through my old Arizona photos and see if I can find some of my bird pictures from out there. No guarantees on a Trogon but I think there's a cardinal or two in there. I'm updating my Live Journal again today with two new pictures. One of a bird but I can't remember what species he is.
