Long story short, my modem crashed! Boo! That left me without internet at home until just a few days ago. I'm technically at school right now, but that's beside the point. Aww, thanks Schnee! This is indeed a new icon! I commissioned kiohl for it a few weeks ago (I wanted to use it as my PSN avatar on the PS3, but they don't allow custom avatars yet :\).

There were so many friends on my journal with Kiohl's icons, I just had to get one for myself!

Missing you lots! Enjoy your break and nature. Mike and I are thinking about camping in May and we will miss your bird knowledge and company, but hopefully you can use your new camping equipment with us again soon.

I miss you too! It was nice to chat a bit the other night! :D I am SO envious of a camping trip to Maine in May. If you go, you'll see SO many awesome birds (especially if you go mid-to-late May...you'll probably beat the blackflies in this time window, too!). Do you think you'll go back up to Moosehead Lake/Lily Bay?

I'm sorry your modem blew up on you. It's good your internet is working now though. :D

I've never been to Big Bend but I hear it's beautiful. Chericahua in Arizona I've been to a few times. It is a beautiful place and very good for bird watching and photo taking. Be sure you have lots of room for pictures on your camera as there are a ton of birds and scenary around there. I have started putting up some of my bird pictures on DA. If you want I can send you the link.

Thanks for the tips, Greylight! I'm really looking forward to Chiricahua - everyone I've talked to said it's a really nice park that's not as flashy as some of America's big-wig N.P.'s, but is a great spot for hiking and seeing cool birds and critters :D I'll give your gallery a browse!

Hi there, Ranakanth! I just sent you an e-mail! ^^ The modem situation is all settled now, but if was a bit of a hassle to get the silly thing replaced. Ah well, it's in the past now! I'll get the photos up ASAP - you'll get to see how absolutely unskilled I am as a photographer XD
