I began reading Persuasion (the next adaptation, chronologically, that I was able to get hold of was the 1971 ITV adaptation of Persuasion; I haven't been successful in finding any of the 1950s or 1960s adaptations anywhere yet...). Then life descended.

I hear you on the book list, I've had a similar experience.

I can't imagine what long dinstance relationships must be like in these times. One friend seemed not to have been affected at all because they've been pretty much Skyping exclusively before Corona, but another had her boyfriend of two weeks spontaneously move in with her while he was in home office and now they're working out if it was the right thing for them or if it was way, way too soon. Hope all's good with you!

The contested care hearings do sound very draining emotionally. Do you have any on-staff psychological/mental health support for you and colleagues?
