More kitten news

Watershed day for the kittens today -- who, apparently, are no longer kittens but now "junior" cats as they have passed six months.

I unlocked the catflap, succeeded with promiscuous use of treats to convince them to shove their heads in it to programme it to their microchips and they then all by themselves figured out how to use it ( Read more... )

They will be. It's the norm here -- for the most part, shelters will check that your home has access to the outdoors before letting you adopt. I cannot wait to get rid of their litter box!

Ah! That's totally different from here. Our vets suggest keeping cats indoor only.

Yeah, Canada's similar. Maybe it's because of the wildlife, I'm not sure, but there's a very definite cultural difference on the issue.

I used to let Ted out, but I'm being very careful with TC and the two Bs - they've been out a few times, but not much. I'm going with the US view on letting cats out at the moment!
