"Anti-sex" pretty much describes the policies of the "pro-life" movement. Early on, in my abortion clinic escort days, I spend some time after each shift talking to the protesters to find out what they were about.
I could argue with some of them to the point where they would concede that comprehensive sex ed ("This is a condom, this is where to get them, this is how to negotiate with a partner who doesn't want to use them, this is how to stop a sexual encounter.") is more effective than abstinence education at reducing unwanted or teenage pregnancies. But just barely.
Really, their position is: "Sex outside of marriage should have painful, shameful, dangerous consequences--because that's the way s Onex outside of marriage should be." Once you realize that, all of their behaviors are remarkably logical and consistent in support of realizing that goal.
