After living in Turkey, I could probably go for months eating just pomegranates, peaches, figs, broccoli, and cucumbers.

Yeah, if they were Turkish pomegranates, peaches, figs, broccoli and cucumbers! And tomatoes! The tomatoes I get when I bother to haul ass to a Turkish supermarket on Green Lanes beat anything you can buy in Sainsbury's and they're cheap... cheaper in Turkey, of course.

Ugh, I wish the prices on produce could leap from Turkey to here. =(

I know, I can't believe how much I took it for granted that I could just wander into the little produce store underneath our apartment building and spend basically a few bucks on a whole whack of beautiful fruit and veg. *sigh* Those were the days, my friend.
