West Wales is beautiful. Aberaeron is a very small harbour village nestled amongst quintessentially green, alternately wooded and fieldy hills. Rowena and Ifan have a house set just outside the village on quite a steep slope, with a massive garden from which plums, pears, apples, herbs, tomatoes, etc, etc, etc are gathered. I was at the Aberaeron Cob and Pont festival!

I live just 16 miles north of there in Aberystwyth. If you went to Aberystwyth, there are chartered boats which you can go see dolphins, porpoises and seals in the bay.
