Good lord, what a whirlwind. I'm so glad to hear that you arrived safely and that things are working out. You're going to have a great time... and I so admire your bravery setting out on this adventure. I know I've told you that about a hundred times, but there it is again. I'm the type of person to get where I'm comfortable and stay there. I probably wouldn't have left vancouver. But you're going to be ever so enriched by this experience... and I'm so happy for you. The thing with Steve walking along the bridge and looking at the city lights sounds marvelous, by the way. I have a thing with walking across bridges... I do it every chance I get. and at night... I bet that was lovely.
