I mentioned in a comment to one of my own posts recently that while I am disgusted with the Tories' moves to reverse equal marriage legislation, end gun registration and replace Kyoto with a seemingly toothless bill on environmental "protection", I was pleased with some things I had heard of them, namely, redress to Chinese-Canadian citizens forced

That's pretty weird. I heard that Prime Minister Harper refused to meet with David Suzuki. This would be like, such a 180.

I guess environmental change for the sake of jockeying for political control is still environmental change. But it would freak me out completely if it were Bush, so I understand. It is so exciting the Green Party is doing well.
