Mmm, I hope we get to see her in MLP:FiM sometime, though they seem to be avoiding crossing the two continuities. (And will we find out what Sunburst's deal was in denying being a wizard? I still don't get that, but, I can be very slow for a bunny =:)
I persoanlly think Sunburst is like Moondancer who was spending all her time studying. Also i think he may have very low magical abilities for a unicorn, like in the Potterverse they would call him a Squib.
Yes, like Ponitacupcake, my understanding is that he has weak magical abilities, with the exception of levitating books. He said something to the effect that he learned many spells in Celestia's school, he just couldn't execute them, and that was disheartening.
