Happiness is a Choice

Honestly, Dear Reader.  If I've discovered anything in the past 63 years, it's that I can choose how I'm going to react to what life throws at me.  I have the power of choice over how I feel about things.  Or at least some power of choice anyhow.

Hey, I KNOW the person Brianna West is talking about ! That's one of my colleagues ! Caroline. She's exactly all of that !! And everyone around her is either annoyed about it, or suffers from it.
But she'll never either realize it, or do something about it. She's a born victim and she just likes that role..
I guess I've behaved a bit like a victim myself (see today's post), but I'll get round to it..

(I wish I had a lot of money though, so I could give it away to some charities that need it, instead of "only" praying and offering time and support and small things...)

Prayer achieves more than the rest put together, though the rest also helps!

& as for those who enjoy the role of victims . . . I dunno. I mean, it's different for those who really aren't in that much of a position to do anything, but even then they are in control of their attitudes. But to just sit there and moan, when there's plenty you _could_ do for yourself . . .
