Postman's Knock II

I mentioned how the postman hid around the corner until I went out last Wednesday then 'tried' to deliver a parcel.  I was in Monday lunchtime when they redelivered it.  I made certain of that.  Even heard the postman's knock over the noise of the blender making this week's batch of soup (lentil and vegetable.)  I mentioned this to the postman then

You can also have your own "worm compost bin" in the kitchen. Much smaller, produces terrific liquid fertilizer ! Does come with some gnats though...

I know about these and think they're a great idea. Whether we'd have room in the kitchen though.

Would it be possible to keep on outdoors, it rarely gets too cold central Portsmouth, and I could always swathe it in bubble wrap.

As for the little flies, get 'em anyway. We have a carnivorous plant on the window ledge which does for quite a few of them.
