Glad to be of service. How are your parents now?

I've had to use my light box when I was proofreading and the kitchen light just wasn't enough.

I cannot do the facing at 30-40 cm as the bright light triggers migraines but if I position it so it doesn't shine right on me but provides enough extra light for it to feel like a sunnier day I feel the difference. I think I'll have one fitted on the ceiling above my desk when I get my office sorted.

I wanted to go for a walk this morning after school run but there was a Macmillan coffee morning at school so I went to that instead. I am trying to squeeze in more exercise in too. :)

Well done you.

I've skipped the light box the past couple of days as I've been off early on a course. So I suppose I really should dig it out tomorrow, which isn't all that convenient, or Monday again at the very latest, which will be.

Oh, the 'joys'!

Really I'd like to have the lightbox above the computer screen, but that's a tad difficult to arrange, so it sits on the desk beside me and I get extra light to my right eye at least. Personally I prefer a walk along the Front on a sunny day (swimming first optional) but sunny days don't come to order!

Hope you manage to sort something satisfactory. SAD can be such a bind. Mind you, a full-scale winter Depression . . .

Other alternative could be moving somewhere south during winter.... Not always an option, I know. There is a woman at the board who was explaining how she felt, and the way she described things made me think about you and that special light of yours. She was quite interested and curious about the whole thing. I need to ask her if she got one....

Ummm, can't move much further south, there's only the Isle of Wight & then there're travel difficulties (crossing the Solent) for H getting to work.

So far the lightbox etc seem to be working.

Which reminds me, why do birds fly south for winter?

It's too far to walk!
