Lunchtime is usually a sandwich with tomatoes, the little ones, and yoghurt. Though occasionally I'll do an omelette. How about you?

I try to cook once a week, and I usually cook for a good 5 days, so lunch for 5 days will depend on what I'll have cooked.. It can be pretty much everything. Two weeks ago it was pasta with home made tomato sauce, last week was rice and ham (didn't have time to cook) next week will be pasta and salad for 3 days, and something with cheese and apple for the remaining 2. Three weeks ago it was potatoes and leek soup.. It's a good thing I'm mono maniac and don't tire easily of the food !!!

I do a good leek and potato soup. When the children were small I'd make it and liquidise it. If made with older leeks it might have a somewhat hairy texture - due to fibres in the leeks. Hence, as it was green and hairy, we called it Monster Soup.
