Mahandra McGinty is also a woman of truest beauty. Her line about Gretchen paying, and paying, and paying and then owing her a check is DEFINITELY something I've used in real life.
I just went to check that Jaye Taylor is also on your list - agreed about how I relate to her more and more as time goes by. She's just amazing and so unique as a heroine - I don't feel like ladies are allowed to be lazy fuckups the way that dudes are, and Jaye is a welcome exception.

I hadn't even remembered that Mahandra line before this because it's been way too long since I last watched Wonderfalls, but yeah, she's amazing. AND YES, JAYE!!!! I love Jaye SO much, there was no way she wasn't going to make my list. I loved Wonderfalls when it was first airing, but I was a freshman in high school at that time, so I definitely didn't get Jaye as well then as I do now.

Honestly, i don't know if I could go back and watch Gilmore Girls now... just because I don't know if I have the patience for small town shenanigans and slow burn romances, but Gilmore Girls is very connected to a specific period of my life, which gives it major nostalgia points.
so I definitely didn't get Jaye as well then as I do now.
