This was really cute! I always wondered why Squall could never quite figure out the hints from the game like hellooooo you are Laguna's son... but this was really good, and oh I do love me some Squall and Ellone interaction (OTP!!) and you are just so good with the dialogue. I ENVY YOUR EASE WITH DIALOGUE!

Squall/Ellone is good.

Squall/Ellone is better than good.

Squall/Ellone is about the only FFVIII het that gets more reaction out of me than just a "...meh.".

There's only one pairing that top s it (in my book at least), and that's also incest - but of the genetic variety instead of the emotional.

There is something really sweet about this - especially the end, where Ellone is pushing Squall into getting to know Laguna better.
