Happy birthday lietyaCompletely unrlated: the 5+ week garbage strike is over, and today is the first pickup date. Last night on the way home we passed an indistinguishable smear of garbage residue on Harbord which smelled so bad that it followed us for more than a block. We had to cover our faces and dash before we ralphed

they cleaned out the dump/rink a couple of days ago and it kicked up an awful stink. i actually fell down dead in the street for a couple of minutes, before a NNW breeze came through and revived me.
