It's always good to make new friends, and your writing grabbed me so you've been added. I'm curious as to how we managed to bump into one another, however. How did you find me?

I lived around the Oxford area off and on for a while and also lived in Swansea, Wales for a short stint. I traveled through France, though only had the chance to see it through the window of a bus, and spent a weekend in Amsterdam. Fantastic city, and not just for the reasons you might suspect. I swear I didn't see a single piece of litter on the ground the entire time I was there and all the locals were mad as a hat. Brillant.

How did I find you? To tell you the truth, though I'm glad I did find your journal, I really don't recall how I did! I'm fairly sure it was through a few degrees of separation though. You lived in Swansea? That's grand! It's Dylan Thomas territory, and I'm a big fan of his (I just bought a book of his love lttrs as well as his biography), also, my long standing boy friend (2 yrs.) is from North Wales--so I feel akin to all things Welsh. Oxford if a beautiful area, and I start to drool every time I think about it . .as a matter of fact the travel show was there today! I'm obsessed with all things British, but have yet to visit. I have plans to go there in a little over a year; I was supposed to be there these last three months, but cancelled my flight & trip at the last minute etc because I realized I'd rather continue taking classes at the university--wonder if I made the right choice?

xxo,

Caroline

You know, it is a theory (&has been proven through scientific experimentation, actually, but that's a bit complicated to go into right now) that there are an infinite number of universes and instead of living in a 'uni'verse, we actually live in what is called a 'multi'verse, and that in each individual universe within this multiverse there are different versions of ourselves playing out ever single possible scenerio that could have entered into our lives. So, if the theory holds, right now, in a different universe very similiar to our own, you were in England during these past three months-- Maybe if science ever progresses far enough you can converse with this 'version' of yourself someday and see how that decision played out.

&That is our quantum physics lesson for the day.

Woot.

&I'm off to Oxford to get my bellybutton repeirced. Let's hope it hurts as little as I remember. *winks*
