I'm willing to accept that Mrs Landlady may have got her wires crossed and told us to expect them at the new ETA of 9am this morn when she should have said 8am, but I'm NOT willing to accept that there were workmen knocking at the door trying to gain access from 7.50am - 8.10/20am (insurance bloke kept slipping between the two) this morn, yet the THREE PEOPLE AWAKE INSIDE the house didn't hear a thing.

And trying to tell me that that they put a note through the door when there is no note through the door or jammed in the letterbox, and that the plumbers tried phoning us when they couldn't get an answer at the door when a quick 1471 reassures me that the last person to call us was indeed my Mum, arrived back in Brum on Saturday night - just what IS the point??! Lies will neither pacify me nor sort out my shower!!

Grrrrrrr... ~goes off to be irate elsewhere~

p.s. Remember to call BT!

[ bloody tradespeople! seriously. i know it's unfair to tar them all with the same brush, but over the years i think my parents have had maybe one dealing with a tradesperson/building contractor that wasn't a complete and protracted pain in the arse and eventual disappointment! i hope this crap is sorted soon, dear one. ]

xo.

I get the impression that it would be easier, simpler and certainly quicker to go to college for 2 years and get your BTEC in Plumbing, set yourself up as a limited company (BrokenBlossom Plumbing anyone?) and do it yourself...

Do you need any help with your ranting?
