So... yay, a new year? Had a bit of a rocky start to mine, due to a bit of a freak-out over taxes when something which is stressful for me to start with did not go well at all. I had planned to do some sewing on Saturday as well, but because of the freak-out I didn't start until late in the afternoon ( Read more... )

When everything else is going wrong - write!

Hope things improve and yes you can always go with option 2 later when you are calmer and don't have an imminent deadline.

That's the good thing about having so many hobbies - when one of them doesn't work out, move on to something else! :)

Option 2 on the neckline worked very well even without a blanket stitch. I think I will add one anyway because it might look nice, but it looks like option 1 won't be necessary :)

Thank you!

I used option 2, though without the blanket stitch because I ran out of time and it looked good enough without. I might add it later for extra pretty though, and to help define the edge of the neckline visually. Right now it's in the wash, so i hope it comes out of that intact...
