Just in case any of you were curious, I was one of the few non-scalpers who actually got Weezer tickets for the Philadelphia show. Try not to be jealous. I cried so much. Not only because they are my favorite and I was so happy, but because I'm pregnant and I cry over everything. May 10th will not come soon enough.

i'm jealous a little, but last time i saw weezer live i was really disappointed. i'd like to give them a second chance, but ticketmaster has spoken.

it's not that they put on a terrible show or anything, it's just that, i dunno, i wasn't that impressed. it was very by the numbers, and i'm sure it didn't help that jimmy eat world and tenacious d were fantastic opening bands. jack black is a tough act for anyone to follow. it also didn't help that it was in a rather large venue.. things should be better at the electric factory.

in other news, the new over the rhine is really good. you need to get into them.

I just don't dig Over the Rhine for some reason. Probably because I'm into the 80's right now, believe it or not, don't shoot me. Especially The Proclaimers. Oh yes baby!

I would expect Weezer to be by the numbers. I love the way they sound on their CDs and I want that to be how they sound live. With the added benefit of Rivers absolutely adorable face. Did you hear their new single Beverly Hills? Your opinion?

Well, technically (I've been trying for 4 months before I actually got pregnant, so I know all about it!) there are only like two days you can actually *get* pregnant. So unless you missed your pill on one of those days, I highly doubt anything could happen. Also, the pill makes it hella hard to get pregnant, even when your off of it for a while. Don't worry, sweetie. I think it's probably mono... (although I hope it's nothing!)

...Which isn't much better. You HAVE to sleep tons or it won't go away! Let me know how your blood work goes. I hope everything is ok!!

Yes I am pregnant! Four months pregnant. I am due in November. I got married in September. Being strangers is not fun. When are you doing something at HP&P again? But wait, because aren't you going away to college soon? Ah, he is growing up right before my eyes!! : )
