Just to serve a pleasant reminder: Mr. Sandman is a cheracter of German origin, originally called Herr Sandmann, who threw sand into kids' eyes, helping them to fall asleep. In the 70s there was an evening program on one of the West German TV channels, called 'Sandmann'
