[One of the books catches his eye, and he snatches it off the shelf.]

[At the mention of the book, though, her expression changes to on of curiosity.]

Is your book good...?

[Eugene lets out an undignified yelp and his book goes flying.]

WHAT WAS THAT? RAPUNZEL?

[Sees the device and relaxes]

Geez, don't scare me like that. Not that I was really scared, mind you.

[He collects his book with all the dignity he can muster.]

The book? Yeah, it's pretty good. It's got some really great swordfights.

[She smiles a little and shakes her head.]

Wow...sounds cool...

...do you think maybe you could read it to me sometime? I mean, I know I can read it myself, but it sounds like something you read in groups.

[A goofy grin spreads across Eugene's face.]

[Have a little guy browsing through a library. Though you can't tell what sort of walking animal he is, he's lost looking for medical books. When he spots Flynn, he freaks out a bit and just hides quite terribly.]

[Flynn catches sight of something from the corner of his eye. Maximus?! No, too small.

Veeeeery carefully he adopts a suave pose.]

[Chopper flails back in surprise and tries to gain his composure as he kicks an imaginary rock.]

I- I know! I was just looking for a book!

[Flynn isn't buying it for a minute, but it amuses him.]

What book?

I will have you know that I fought off that horse with a frying pan. It was the weirdest thing I've done in my life.

[The library seems very quiet and not quite so full of those scary two-legged things, which makes it an attractive hideout for small, pastel-colored ponies that don't care much for noise or crowds or scary two-legged things.

Except there's one there. Right there! But--but he mentioned a horse, so maybe...]

[Flynn is caught up in his own little world -- or, more accurately, the world of pirates and cursed treasure. So enraptured is he that he doesn't hear Fluttershy's quiet voice.]
