I literally love every line in this fic (how can you give me all these feelings with 850 words?! how. can. you.) and I would quote the whole thing. seriously. <333
“We’re having a baby,” Gerard says, voice awe-filled.
“I’m having a baby,” Leo corrects, “You’re having nothing,” but Gerard pretends not to hear him.
LOOOOOOOOL.
“Poor child indeed,” Gerard says, and slams his locker shut. He throws an arm around Cesc’s neck, pulling him into his side. “No one should have to be raised a gooner.”
Cesc tries to pull away from him, but not that hard, and he settles when Gerard doesn't let him go. “I hate you,” he says. “I hope your children are City fans.”
“I hope your children are Madridistas,” Gerard says, and they both stop and make a face at each other.
“That was too far,” Cesc says.
LMAOOOOOOOO. as a Madridista, I find this especially hilarious xD
I've been waiting for someone to write about this :). Leo's going to be such a great dad, and that kid will have a whole football team full of tios who love him.
And of course I adore the interactions between the three of them, the way they reflect their history together and apart and together again. My favorite bits are
“What are you going to name it?” Gerard demands, and then, without waiting for an answer, “I think Gerard is a good name.”
“Yeah,” Leo says, “That was the first name Antonella suggested, if you can believe it.”
“Really?” Gerard asks.
“No.”
and
“I hate you,” he says. “I hope your children are City fans.”
“I hope your children are Madridistas,” Gerard says, and they both stop and make a face at each other.

“Yeah,” Gerard agrees, and they go to lunch.
