MY FELLOW BROFISTICANS

Sep 27, 2010 00:16

We have been through much together, and the dream which we have, that I have, of a game for everyone to enjoy equally and have fun together playing in- that will never die.But at this time I think I should acknowledge that we are falling out of the mainstream and sailing into the mist ( Read more... )

I'm really not quite sure what to say.

I don't have a very wide range of experience in LJ RPs. This one and one other, primarily.

But some of the most fun things I've done on the internet in recent memory, Brofist is to the top. Through the top, even. Brofist is the new top, by which all future and past tops are now measured. It is the zenith of my internet enjoyment, a long climb above the clouds into fun.

I'm not completely sure how I feel about this, but I am more than willing to give it a chance.

I pretty much have to agree.

Brofist has brought me to tears (OF JOY) a thousand and one times, through varying means. It really IS at the top of any and all fun I've had in any game ever in the history of ever.

and... while I'm kinda :C that it's no longer a "game" per se, I think it's cool we're all gonna still be here as a group! x3

We haven't been a "game" to outsiders for a while, which is why we don't really get any apps. So at this point... I'd rather focus more on tightening up the group we have in here, and allowing people to expand the playerbase on their own time.

Well, I, personally, think that's an awesome idea. :|a

I'm sorry that this place apparently wasn't considered a game, but I'm sure as hell glad I joined, as it has legitimately been my all-time FAVORITE game I've ever been involved in.

So glad I came across you guys, and, should this GLORIOUS VESSEL sink for whatever reason, I am going the fuck down with it.

Good times were had here, it got me to play Haruko and Nishiki, both whom I love to death now. And, of course it is so cool to get to play with other Excel Saga manga fans to! I'll probably bring in some one new and cracky to test out the new set up when I have time.

Nothing is really going to change; but we're simply getting no new apps in recent times, so I'm simply removing the bulk of the apps and changing it to an invite-based status. If you have any friends who want to play, the new app simply asks for OOC info, who you were invited by, and the character's name and timeline etc.

Oh, a question: What are we doing in terms of... uhm, like, doubles of characters?

When we invite someone (or bring them in ourselves), it has to be a character that isn't already here, right? D:

The Taken List is still what it is. The apps aren't being removed, per se, you just don't have to write much in them beyond "name and ooc info, and character's name."

I'm just glad that BFL is not closing. I've had hella, HELLA fun with many of you guys here; I'm just sorry I'm not active/drop threads . . . a lot. It's not you, it's me. I just suck.

Also, I am kind of psyched at the new no-apping policy. This means I can finally bring Cannon-sensei in ! ! !
