She looks pretty cute but I have a hard time believing that is a nine year old. She looks about 12. Maybe it's the makeup? I was not allowed to use it myself until I was 11. And hot may be a bit of a stretch also. This article must have been written by a man!

Even if she's 12, describing a 12 year old as hot is pretty out there.

Makeup can make a big difference, I've seen glamour shots of girls of 9 or 10 that look nearly adult. The chin and nose seem to be the keys to how adult we perceive a face to be, and that can be influenced by make-up and lighting.
