Do you mind very much if I squee at you about John and Stu and Astrid and Charles, and if I say here that I would like to take your Erik and SHAKE him till there's some sense rattling around in his damn head?

Thank you for such intensity of feeling, such marvelous descriptions, such difficult emotions. Gorgeous, gorgeous work.

Not at all on both counts. *g* I got the idea for the fic from musing to one of my friends about how awesome it would be if Charles & John Lennon met, and then Erik sort of took over the whole thing & made it about his anger & fascination with Charles & all of his other issues. (Go figure.)

So I'm thrilled you liked it. I'm hoping at some point to continue their story - I think these two are fascinating contradictions.

Thanks so much for reading!! :)

There has been so many awesome fics out there but I really feel you get the movie/comic canon Charles like no other. Charles has a different kind of strength and power; he has this pull that draws powerful people to his side and Erik is both helpless and distrustful of it. And of course, you capture Erik and Charles insane chemistry and push/pull relationship.
I am especially in love with Astrid, who reminds me of my sweet and insightful Astrid from Fringe and of course Peter would love to hang out with these people; I love how much these group of people really represent who Peter is. Oh man, I want him in the movies so bad.
I hope you write tons of fic for this fandom; especially since I have no idea how long we have to wait for the sequel to be released. I will be for sure holding on to this amazing gem in the mean time.:)
** p.s: can I rec this in my journal?**

Thank you so much, baby!! That's exactly what I was going for - Charles' power is so different from Erik's, but no less potent, and Erik would be completely helpless to resist it. And he'd hate that he was helpless.

I'll definitely be writing more in this fandom with these two (and might even be working on the sequel to this one, but don't tell anyone. *g*) Glad you liked it!!

OH MY GOODNESS. I love this so much! Erik is just so viscerally intense and angry, and, just, YES. And Charles getting all worked up about the Beat poets with John Lennon, and ASTRID, and everything. ♥ times a billion.

Yaye, I'm so thrilled!!!! :) I mean, I can lay this one squarely on you - well, sort of. It was SUPPOSED to be a short fluff piece with Charles & John discussing Beat poetry, but then Erik hijacked it. Go figure. So, I guess you can blame me for the visceral & angry parts.

At any rate, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, have some angst! ;)

guh, this is so good. I love how much Erik wants and at the same time how much he resents the fact that he wants
