yay, i finally made something i don't despise and that doesn't make me question my ability as an artist. of course, it could just have something to do with being inspired by peaches. you gotta love some peaches.

this weekend was good; robbie and i got lots done. we went to royal oak and had fun, and robbie took me to astoria bakery which is this pastry cafe place that's won all these different awards and we just ate all these different amazing sweets. then yesterday we mowed the lawn and robbie painted our side door and touched up a few places with the ( Read more... )

we got a kitty! we adopted the kitty we wanted from the humane society adoption thing that petco offers. yesterday we went to the pet shop just to sign a form saying we were interested in the cat, but the lady who cares for the cats happened to be there and ended up just handing her over to us, without filling anything out really. this weekend started off rough, but ended up being very fun. going to different pet shops is a really fun way to spend a saturday; it's like going to the zoo, for free! we bought new aquarium plants and more exciting food for our african cichlids. we also got them a cucumber when we went grocery shopping, because at the pet shop there were chunks ( Read more... )

oh my goodness, i'm SO excited! i just got off the phone with robbie a little while ago, and he told me today at work a little lost wild baby bunny wandered into the warehouse and he wanted to bring it home to me, but he was worried because it was very young and small, so he let some other guy who had a daughter that rescues wildlife take it ( Read more... )
