Holy crap! You know it's a good fic when I'm actively cursing you, the author: "THAT BITCH, WHY IS SHE WRITING THAT...NOOOO! PAIN! OMFG HE SAID 'I LOVE YOU' DON'T YOU CARE KILL THEM!"

lol, but no really, I LOVED it. I'm so jaded from reading fanfiction through the years and in admittedly darker fandoms that I was surprised at how really scared I was in this fic. I mean, it was gruesome which made it more real. The banter between McCoy and Kirk is priceless and good god, just the little arm touch at the beginning just radiated their whole relationship. Somehow I always imagine those little moments happening all the time and the crewmen just rolling their eyes and like, "JFC, there are those two flirting again!"

I have two grammar nitpicks, which I never do but hey, I believe you are cool like that and won't mind. If I'm wrong, feel free to send mental daggers at me or something.

I mean, there's no actual cock in this fic, so... healing lips? But they didn't really heal Kirk, they just made him momentarily forget his pain.
