So I had to do SOMETHING for the fandom, but since there's not much in the way of screencaps, but there was one that I thought could benefit from some good ol' Photoshop manipulation. And lo, the Holmes/Watson Closer Series was born.

I have to wait another month to see the film :-( But at least now I know what to look forward to ;-)

Anyway, gorgeous icons.

Btw, I think I've read/heard somewhere that the subtext or text was supposed to be in the film, I actually thought it would be even more obvious. I really can't remember ...

As I poke around interviews and such, the signals as far as "was this deliberate or not" are kind of mixed. I'm starting to think that the studio gave an order to not discuss it out right...an order that RDJ doesn't seem to be following...

Spooky also read somewhere that the subtext was purposeful in the books at least. If you can remember where you read your tidbit I would be soooooo appreciative if you linked me. =)

Hm, so I think I'm 90 per cent sure that I heard about it on MTV News because I can remember squeeing in my living room ;-)

Apparently RDJ started all those rumours. My guess there was supposed to me more subtext but TPTB chickened out ... again :-(
