My mom is ill.

Surgery next week.

Dad is not happy.

I am still here but rather preoccupied.

Thank you so much, my friend (extra shoes for you)! We are honored. Mom is impressed. I told her it's because she married a guy who's 1/8 Cherokee *g*.

Surgery is tomorrow so we will know more then. ATM, I am deflecting alarmist relatives and friends from sending worst-case scenario emails to her. That's the last thing she needs to read right now.

I am tired and it's been hot but things will improve and I'll post new info when I get some.
