I know nothing of helping your immigration dilemma; however, I just had to compliment that sexy icon.

Hm. I don't know much about UK to US immigration, but is there any UK company that has a US branch that you could work for? It may not be an instant solution but it's a possibility.

The real problem with getting a job here is that (like in the UK) you have to prove you deserve to be employed more so than the natives. Wish I could help you more, but if marriage isn't an option, it's going to be a toughie. Good luck, though.

There are some British companies near here, actually - could you tell me how that would help me get round the problem? Are there different rules if you're working for a British company? Thank you :)

I don't know actually; I know there's a few people in this community that have managed to pull it off, though--sorry I can't be more helpful! :(

You could start with the information on Nolo's site about immigration:

Revalidating Your Visa in the U.S. No Longer Possible

Look through Nolo's site, there is good information there.
If you really wish to immigrate, you might wish to consult an attorney.

You have ninety days starting from your original date of entry as shown on the I-94W (green Visa Waiver card hidden snugly in your passport ( ... )

Can you get married whilst traveling on visa waiver? I was told you couldn't.

Yes you can.

Even the BCIS will offer the solution I posted as a viable option as a means to stay in the US.

Hello there :)
Havn't seen you in an age...

I'm afraid I don't have any advice though. You can try to find a job where they're willing to do the work to get you a work visa.

Not 100% sure about the 90 days thing, although check what's in your passport. One time I was there the date my visa was valid until was in there. Otherwise I think its 90 days from the date of arrival as stamped in the passport.
