Have any of you applied for a US renewal passport from inside the UK? How long did it take to get it back after you sent it in? It's not terribly urgent, but I really need to send it off to get a new visa put in it. Bad timing :(

Just did mine a couple of months back and it took about 4 weeks.

i had mine replaced earlier this summer (the Home Office lost it in the post - good job, guys) and i think i got it less than 2 weeks after my appointment at Grosvenor Square. i was shocked how fast it was.
