Short lets in London

I'm an American who is (hopefully) going to be visiting London from March 16-30 with three other girls. I'm trying to figure out the cheapest accommodation--with four people, even in a £10/bed hostel ends up costing £560 for two weeks, and we don't really have any friends who'd have room for all of us ( Read more... )

You might want to try searching on here:

They have a massive range of places to stay, including apartments and hostels, etc. There are some really cheap places and all the ones I've used from here have been good value for money.

These links are awesome! Thank you so much! <3 Even just reading the FAQs on those sites gave me a way better idea of what to expect from the process.

I didn't know that universities rented out unused housing--something to keep in mind for future trips, definitely.

i have - i stayed at the homes of two different people in Eugene, OR, and met quite a few others in public places. it is a pretty nifty idea :)
