Thanks to everyone who answered my last post about the wellies! All very helpful comments and I have no doubt I'll be leaving here with my wellies... err... I may actually have to wear them home too as I doubt the luggage space will be available :P ( Read more... )

The London Bead Shop is a dangerous place. Take a friend with you to look after your credit card. Yes, I've been there, and my husband says I'm not allowed to go again.

Very dangerous. Huge range of stuff because professionals use it. Get some cash out to the limit you think is safe to spend and tell the friend guarding your card that under no circumstances are they to let you have it until you come out of the shop.

Indeed. There used to be one in Brighton too - many of my fave earrings are pendants I got cheap there, 15 years later!

I've heard excellent things of The London Bead Shop and I can recommend Bead Games, Cowley Road, Oxford if you're ever in the Oxford area.
