Don't go with the one who doesn't want to pick up your calls, at least.
If you have complications (one of you was once deported, a standing arrest, waiting on an annulment, citizenship of home country is in question, etc), consult with a lawyer rather than a company. If everything is pretty straight forward for you, you'll probably be able to manage on your own. Good luck and congrats!
When my family came to the US from Canada we hired a lawyer, but did most of the work ourselves. I didn't know there were actual, bona fide immigration companies :P (then again, most of my knowledge of this move are second hand, as I was a younger child at the time, and it's only now that I'm over 18 that I need to know more about legalities...)
