Come back when you've watched this.
Seriously, this is madness. Fo' shizzle.

Okay. You back? Now, ain't that some shit? I hate MARTA, man. Gawd.
Apparently "Souljah Girl" (a.k.a. Stroppy Girl) was later arrested.

How NOT to "pop off," son:

I saw Air in concert about a year ago and there were no capes. They were both in all white, though. Thanks for the downloads, every time I see the band name Laibach I think of this:

Jarvis Cocker is also one of MY imaginary boyfriends. He's going to be at the Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago in a few weeks. If I don't see him, I will die.

I heard about it AFTER making conflicting plans to travel, and am bitter as all get out.

I won't despair until he is dead, though. After all, I did see Roxy Music, and NEVER thought I'd be that lucky.

... You saw Roxy Music?
*dies of jealousy*
I might not get to see Jarvis this time around either. I, too, didn't hear about it until very recently so I don't really have any cash budgeted for tickets/driving. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a Pulp reunion, though.

...should I mention that Rufus Wainwright opened for them?

Mmm, probably not. :)

I figure that Jarv and I will eventually have coordinating schedules one day. Then I will die happy, having seen him live.

Yes!

Thanks for the info about Dana Gillespie. I randomly downloaded one of her albums ("Foolish Seasons") off of a folk blog a while back, and there were maybe two songs on there that I liked. I didn't know anything about her, but now that I do, I won't be able to hear that album without thinking of how she doesn't quite know how to love Jeebus.

The Moog song sounds really good to me for some reason. With a band name like Moog, I had expected a bunch of annoying synthesizer crap.

There is a lot of interesting gossip to be read about Ms. Dana Angie Bowie's "tell-all" book about her life with Dave.

Last I heard, Angie was living in Atlanta and active in GLBT-related stuff.
