RetroCrush has posted a fun feature about "Favorite Retro Pop Songs Ruined in Commercials." The Cure's Pictures of You (in an HP ad) and Devo's Whip It (Swiffer) make the cut; I'd like to add the Go-Go's Vacation (Priceline.com) and Blondie's One Way or Another (also Swiffer).

I'd nominate Bob Dylan singing "Lovesick" in that Victoria's Secret commercial, Kia using "Let The Sunshine In", or any iPod commercial ever made.

I have to say that The Vines' "Ride" in an iPod commercial was simply awesome.

Not overly fond of Dylan's voice, and am glad I missd the VS advert, as it wouldn't help me get over that.
