Primeval - ITV's upcoming sci-fi

ITV are currently advertising a sci-fi show named Primeval coming to our screens in early spring.
It has been described as ITV's answer to Doctor Who.
However, it just looks like a rip off of Torchwood, including the words rip in time and space!
I'm not sure really, if it is I will actually go mad, because it means ITV are jumping on the bandwaggon

Yeah of course I'm going to watch it!
It's got the girl from S-Club in, I mean who'd miss that?
It might be a bit silly though, fighting dinosaurs. Obviously because it'll be pretty boring as their enemys will have no interest or interlect and will only be big green things which stomp about and roar.

Yeah, the only good thing on ITV is Afterlife and some Murder Mysterys.

Yeah I love it, the season finale was so sad.
The whole pan out of the cemetary and Alison just standing there.
It made me cryyy.
I hate season finales.

seems similar to threshold, an american show on cbs that deal with a government agency handling (and covering up) humanity's first alien encounter and possible invasion.

it also has a ring to torchwood.
looks interesting, and i like scifi so i think ill be watching

the actors look familiar but i cant quite place them
