Snow
Yesterday London got it's first proper snow, since I've been here. I've never seen snow before so when Erin got home at midnight we went and played in the snow in the front yard, making snow angels and throwing snowballs. So, I finally got around to watching Rory O'Shea Was Here/Inside I'm Dancing and no amount of gifs of people crying will express my feelings. Just sobbing, in fact as I'm writing this, fifteen or so minutes after the films credits stopped rolling, and I'm still crying. It was just such a beautiful film. Also, I watched Blue Valentine and It's Kind of a Funny Story.
Both were beautiful, both made me cry.
Blue Valentine was so tragic, and 'beautifully depressing'. Ryan Gosling is actually a far better actor than I've ever given him credit for. The flashbacks were so painful to handle because you see how much these two people have changed. It's so sad ( Read more... ) -

The lights came on, I'm at the barrier, front row and Pete saunters onstage. He's sickly pale [which is nothing new] and his hair is plasters down to his head and incredibly dirty.
