1- you do realize you're right, yes? Good. Rather, I suppose I should say, you do realize you've got the right view of things. Anyway...
2-This isn't directly related to your entry, but here goes anyway.
I wanted to take this chance to be sure that you know you are one of the authors I really admire in the PotC fandom, for your work on The Vampire Jack and... I think one drabble (it's all I've read of yours!). You have a wonderful skill for the craft, and an originality that manages to bend canon deliciously, not break it. Your creativity, talent, and ability serve as inspiration for me, and for many others I am sure.

1- I try to be as open as I can about things. :)
2- You have just made me love writing all the more. Not that other fans of my work don't boost my writing ego a bit, just that I've never had anyone say a what you've said. It means a lot to me.
You have also been Fan-ed, I guess you could say. Is there an official way of doing that?
Anyway. Your Psalms to the Taffrail is something I've never seen before. No one (that I know of) had written anything involving young Jack and James as a series, and I've enjoyed the entire thing so far. I know I'll also enjoy the rest of it.

Consider yourself Fan-ed.
