62,015 words, one story, 30 days

On the 24th of November, I reached the Nanowrimo challenge of writing at least 50,000 words of a novel in 30 days (or less). On November 29th, I reached 62,015 words, and the anticipated end of the plot. Today, I wrote nothing, save what I'm doing here ( Read more... )

Congrats on finishing your novel. Right now I am not ready to look at what I wrote. I wrote a background to a story I have already written Nights in White Satin. I was so focused on reaching my word count goal that I only concentrated on the plot without much regard to structure, grammar or spelling.

It was easier to write than I thought I wrote in one page shots till I reached four pages a dag or about 2250 words per day.

I am glad that the groups gave you support. There was a local writing group, but I never attended.

Good luck with the editing process. I look forward to reading your novel when you are done.
