Looks like the weather is playing ball (yes, friends, that WAS a sports metaphor!) and there WILL be a Muffin Tops game at North Seatac Fields at 3pm (and again at 5). Oh, My God. Insert some 'this is the first day of the rest of your life' comment here. I will be playing sport, intentionally, for the first time ever in my life today

I remember hating playing kickball, softball, basketball, etc. and almost every other "team" sport while growing up. (I wasn't very "sporty" growing up.) I played soccer for 3 seasons or so in summer leagues, which I didn't mind, and was on a summer swim team for 3 or 4 seasons too.
I found that I appreciate having had played soccer when I was young, because you learn to be better "on your feet". I move/walk differently because I played soccer. For example, if I want to turn around and go back the way I've come, I plant a foot, shift weight so I'm moving/starting to walk backwards, then pivot on the first step so I face the new direction. (I don't stop, turn around, and start walking.) I also often start sideways movements with a lateral "side step" rather than turning and walking forward.
Anyway, the point I'm trying to make is that there are side benefits to doing athletics. Hopefully you'll enjoy the fringe benefits too!
