For those of you who know her, my youngest natural sister, Faye, was taken to the doctors this morning. By 4pm, she was in the intensive care unit at Sunderland Royal Hospital. i'm really sorry hun. as others have said i hope she makes a quick recovery, but at least she's out of the danger zone.

My thoughts are with you all, and i'm always here if you need a chat.

Eep. Sorry about that. Fortunately, with the right treatment and hospitalisation, septicaemia is rarely a fatal infection, and it sounds like she's on the mend as it is.

Following recovery from any meningitis-related illnesses, the affected person will feel somewhat slow and sluggish, so it's likely that Faye may act as if she is extremely tired and may need help mobilising during the recovery period - the nurses where she is should be helping her do this! But she may still need some assistance when she returns home, so there shouldn't be any problems with you around.

Get the bed and hot chocolate ready, and maybe a good book and a Nintendo DS. That stuff usually helps, I always find. :p

So sorry to read of the troubled times and all so suddenly after our conversation on Saturday. My thoughts are with you and all the family, hoping that your sisters recovery is quick. After so much negativity going on I know better fortune must be on it's way for you and loved ones.
