Bulk billing doctor on the south side?

Hey all, I'm after more help!

I'm looking for a doctor on the south side (Logan area) that bulk bills. I'd really love recommendations and personal experiences.

I'm overweight but I also have a serious kidney problem. The doctor I currently see is very unsympathetic and frankly, I'm tired of their slapdash medicine (a constant pain in my right side ( Read more... )

Dr Ibrahim at Drs @ Underwood (near the chemist near Big W at Underwood) is great and willing to run every tezst needed to find a problem. He also isn't a 'everything thats wrong is coz ur fat' doctor. I'm fat and his opinion is if ur happy we'll deal with whats stopping you being happy first then if you want we can look at weight.

Oh that's a good recommendation! I am thinking of compiling a list of fat friendly doctors in south east Queensland (I am involved in fat and body acceptance) and if I can ever get around to doing it I will put Dr Ibrahim on the list!

I've recommended her on another post recently, but Heather Jeffrey is fat friendly, as well. My 168kg stepfather went to her for breathing/sinus problems, aches and pains, and instead of being all "Sleep Aponea!" like every other doctor, she tested him up the wazoo for everything she could think of.

Wendt medical practice... 3841 1011... Koobil St in Rochedale South.. ask to see Dr Kym Wendt.. she is the ONLY doctor who found my very rare brain condition..(even after a head of dept of neurology said I had anxiety and weight issues.. ) which resulted in very serious brain surgery... I just cannot recommend her highly enough....

Yeah, you've gotta love that. They just talk everything down to being a weight problem but what shocks me even more is when the symptoms are neurological!

I'll book an appointment with her for early next week. Thank you so much! :)

Can you make your way to the Garden City Shopping Centre Medical Clinic? They're my doctors and bulk-bill. Downstairs near Coles.
