Bulk billing doctors?

I'm fairly new to Brisbane and I'm on the search for a good doctor's surgery who will bulk bill for a student / 17 year old. I live in Chapel Hill, so anywhere between here and the city, or easily accessible by public transport from here would be appreciated

Where are you a student at? The UQ doctors are great, but you can only go if you're a current UQ student.

Sorry then! Don't know if they have off campus doctors. Maybe your student union can point you in the right direction.

QUT has a medical centre at Kelvin Grove (and maybe at the other campuses too, but I don't know) that bulk bills for students.

The Coonan street GP at Indooroopilly Junction (across the road from Indro train station, on level two of the complex) does bulk billing for students!

The Medical Centre at Garden City Shopping Centre, Upper Mt Gravatt are bulk billed. Just take any bus that goes to Upper Mt Gravatt Busway stop (170, 174, 111, 150, 160, 161, 555....heaps of buses)

Some of the doctors at the Indooroopilly medical centre bulk bill - It's across the road from the shopping centre, 66 Station Rd. 0738783733.

But not all, so check if you ring, if you do.

If you have a consession card from centrelink, generally non bulk billing doctors will bulk bill you.

That may have changed from when I had one several years ago though. (that and I started using my then boyfriends doctor who still to this day bulk bills, but he is not accessible by public transport)
